Vaccinations

During regular preventive consultations, we will assess a pet’s health, lifestyle, and potential exposure to diseases to create a tailored vaccination plan. Vaccinations are focused on administering vaccines to prevent infectious diseases in pets, preventing the spread of diseases and promoting the overall health of the pet population.

Core vaccines, such as those for rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and adenovirus, are essential for all pets. Non-core vaccines are recommended based on individual risk factors, exposure, and location, covering diseases like feline leukemia, bordetella, or Lyme disease.

Puppies and kittens undergo a series of vaccinations during their early months to build immunity. Adult pets receive regular booster shots at varying intervals to maintain protection. Rabies vaccinations are often legally required, and some regions may mandate rabies licensing.

We follow recommended vaccine schedules, maintaining detailed records of a pet’s vaccination history. For international travel, additional vaccinations required by the destination country are administered.
